Bethlehem Steel took one more step in beginning their National Challenge Cup dynasty, defeating Homestead Steel Works 4-1, at Taylor Field in Lehigh. The Pittsburgh club was the first to score, off a goal by Crawley after eight minutes. Bethlehem equalized soon after, when Tommy Fleming converted a penalty kick.
