Vesper Buick became the fifth St. Louis club to reach the National

Challenge Cup Finals, dominating Chicago's Bricklayers F.C. 5-0 at

High School Field in St. Louis. Despite the fact that the Bricklayers

were pressing early, Vesper took a 1-0 lead at the 14th minute.

Irving Wimer scored off a pass from Corrigan. Just nine minutes

later, Eddie Becker doubled the Vesper lead. In the second half,

Tom Harris took over, scoring three goals to bury the Brickies and

send Vesper Buick to the Final.
