The Ben Miller Soccer Club advanced to the National Challenge
Cup Final with a 2-0 victory over Chicago's Canadian Club in
St. Louis. The youthful Ben Miller side, many of whom were
under the age of 21, used their speed to overcome their lack
of experience. Bollam scored the first goal for the Mound City
booters, off a cross from Mulroy at the 16th minute. With a
1-0 halftime lead, Ben Miller would double their advantage in
the 66th minute. Jimmy Dunn took a cross from his brother
Ebbie, and scored from close range.
