Sparta A & BA made their way to the Western Finals of the Challenge

Cup, defeating Ben Miller F.C. 1-0 in a replay of their drawn match a

week ago. Sparta did not score the winning goal until the 81st minute,

when Joe Kratochvil took a pass from Adolph Burger, and beat Ben Miller

goalkeeper Bartnett. On a humorous note, an over excited taxi driver

reported that three of the Ben Miller players were "led away by detectives",

creating a rumor that the men had been kidnapped to keep them from the

game. Once the players returned to the tem hotel, it was revealed that they

were at a friends house, and simply stay a bit too long.
