The USL's Pro Select League will send six teams to the 2004 US Open Cup. The 2003 Champion Wilmington Hammerheads will receive an automatic berth into the tournament with the remaining five berths to be filled by the teams with the best point total in four qualification matches (2 home / 2 away).
