City Islanders' dream alive and well
Harrisburg still unbeaten after 1-0 win over Bermuda
The Harrisburg City Islanders’ quest of finally qualifying for the U.S. Open Cup is off to a great start after their second straight win over the expansion Bermuda Hogges. The club made a 5th minute goal by Mike Lookingland stand up as they held on for a 1-0 victory. They spoiled Bermuda’s home opener this past Friday by the same scoreline on a goal by Chad Severs, who also assisted on Lookingland’s goal.
Next weekend the City Islanders (2-0-1) will return home in a battle of the unbeatens against the 2-0 Charlotte Eagles. USL-2 Qualifying Standings
