Nashville opens qualifying with win
Short-handed Metros hoping to return to Open Cup
 With some of their top players still away at college, the Nashville Metros managed to pull out a convincing opening day win in front of their home fans. Four different goal scorers tallied in a 4-2 win over the Palm Beach Pumas in the first qualifying match for both teams. With still a long way to go in PDL Southern Conference qualifying, Nashville joins Central Florida, Laredo and El Paso as the other teams who have already won their opening game.
