After moving to a secondary field at the Uhlein Soccer Park, Milwaukee and Minnesota ended their second leg match in a 0-0 draw, eliminating Milwaukee from the 2004 US Open Cup. Minnesota won the first leg 1-0 at home on Friday night.
Heavy rain in Milwaukee caused the main field at Uhlein to be unplayable, so the game was moved to another field. The weather produced a stalemate, with neither team able to score a goal.
Rain has not been Wave United's friend this season. Their season opener at home against the Edmonton Aviators was postponed because of heavy rain, thus, they did not have the minimum of three games played by the May 23rd deadline. Minnesota had already qualified for the Open Cup since they were the league runner-up last season.
